The Mount Isa Employment, Entrepreneurial, Volunteer and Extra-Curricular  (MIEEVE) is a community engagement project to help understand the strengths and opportunities available in Mount Isa to support increased employment, participation and evidence-based decision making through volunteering, extra-curricular activities, innovation and technology.

 

MIEEVE includes surveys and in-depth interviews with a range of organisations and community members in Mount Isa that will be used in a report to be presented to the Regional Jobs Committee. This report will identify the capabilities and skills gaps in the not-for-profit health, education, entrepreneurial and extra-curricular sectors in Mount Isa, and will identify opportunities for future projects to increase capability, capacity and participation.
